Mariemma Yagüe is a great Spanish artist, or as she calls herself, ‘malagaditana’, since she has lived in Malaga for more than 20 years. From her workshop in Benalmádena Costa, she creates large format works that stand out for their Mediterranean palette (aquamarines, greens, blues, turquoises, … colors of the Malaga sky and the Mediterranean Sea). Her portraits of definite and pure lines appear blurred in the vicinity, while maintaining the soul and essence and unfold all their light, color and joy.
Mariemma Yagüe has exhibited her works internationally in Art Galleries in Rome, Paris and Stockholm, as well as in Madrid, Barcelona, and all of Andalusia. She regularly participates in important International Contemporary Art Fairs such as Art & Breakfast, Art / Marbella, We Are Fair and Art Jaén.
At the national level, she has made numerous individual and collective exhibitions highlighting her exhibitions at the Gran Meliá Don Pepe Hotel (Marbella), Hotel Villa Padierna Palace (Marbella), Hotel H10 Andalucía Plaza (Marbella), Hotel Vincci Málaga (Málaga) and in the coming months at Hotel Vincci Estrella del Mar (Marbella) and Hotel Vincci Posada del Patio (Málaga).
Her exhibitions in different venues of Canal Sur TV have been broadcast by the Andalusian radio and television, such as the “My World of Fantasy” show in Canal Sur Television Seville and Granada; Or the exhibition “Del Color del Mar” transferred from Canal Sur Cadiz to the venues of Malaga, Jaén and Granada. Her works have also been shown on local television channels such as 101tv and PTV.
