Restaurante Vino Mío raised 1,000 euros today during the solidarity event that was held to benefit the Ronald McDonald House in Malaga, belonging to the Children’s Foundation. The event, which lasted just 90 minutes, was attended by a large number of people who wanted to collaborate with the cause: to keep the home for seriously ill children, near the Mother-Child Hospital and the Civil Hospital, as well as look after their needs .
The money was collected through different channels. A Solidarity Raffle was organised with great prizes from collaborating companies in Málaga. All participants received a prize with their ticket that cost just 10 euros. Tickets for the Caminito del Rey, the local theater, dental whitening, hotel nights, SPA passes, bottles of wine and beer, passes for gyms, dinners, art, beauty treatments and jewelry were some of the prizes donated.
On the other hand, the third edition of Cajas Con Arte was held, together with Marina Hernández (Marina + Arte), a solidarity movement where local artists from Malaga design and paint cardboard boxes and wood to donate and sell. All boxes of this edition have been sold to attendees and interested parties. At the same time, three prizes have also been awarded to the boxes most voted on social networks. The winner was Itziar, an 11-year-old girl.
During the event, a tapas tasting accompanied by drinks was also offered, for the price of 10 euros per person (50% of which was donated to the cause), while the youngest children enjoyed a painting workshop with Julio Romero and adults were shown the live art of the urban painter Nauni.
“In Vino Mío we are very aware of the charitable causes and we are willing to help whenever we can. This is the third edition of the Cajas con Arte and every year we are more elated with the generosity of the people “, explained Hèléne Mostertman, owner of Vino Mío restaurant.
